LIZ ROBERTS CSPWC 908-89 Riverview Dr. Chatham Ontario N7M 6A4 519-397-4297 Liz was born and raised in Surrey, England. In 1947 she emigrated to Canada first to Montreal and then to Milton Ontario where she had her first painting lessons working in oils. Years later when she moved to Toronto she switched to watercolours and was hooked. She studied at Central Technical school and the Toronto School of Art. In addition Liz attended watercolour workshops with eminent Canadian and American watercolour artists. In 1993 Liz moved to Calgary where she took an active part in the artists’ community as an instructor and exhibiting artist. In 2013 Liz moved to Chatham Ontario. Solo shows at the Faculty of Dentistry University of Toronto, Fish Creek Area Library and Centennial Gallery in Calgary. COLLECTORS Liz Roberts' work can be found on Canada, the USA, GB as well as corporate collections in Calgary and Toronto. ARTIST’S STATEMENT; I feel inspired by the landscape be it rocks streams, mountains, trees o flowers. I cannot imagine living in a world without colour and try to interpret these feelings in my paintings.
