Jasenka (Jazz) Vigini was born in Zagreb, Croatia. Interested in art at an early age she wan often caught doodling in class. She graduated with honours from the School of Fine Arts in Zagreb and eventually moved to Canada in 1993 with her family to escape war. Settling in Kitchener, Ontario, Jasenka is a home-maker and a grandmother of three, who finds solitude in painting and refurbishing furniture.
