Tom Stephens has studied photography with Freeman Patterson and André Gallant in New Brunswick, Richard Martin in Kingston, Michael Tardioli and Harry Nowell in Ottawa, and David Preston in New York City. Recognition for Tom’s photography includes selection into juried shows at Beaux Arts Brampton, McMaster Innovation Park, the Burlington Art Centre annually since 2009, and several venues in Ottawa before moving to Oakville in 2008. Tom’s images have been published in Photolife magazine, PhotoEd magazine, the Ottawa Citizen, and Outdoor Photography Canada. He has earned gold level accreditation in color prints, B&W prints, and projected images from the Latow Photographers Guild in Burlington, where he has been a member since 2008.
