Marie lives in the Ridgetown area of Chatham-Kent in Ontario. She has enjoyed painting full-time since she retired from teaching. For many years Marie took painting lessons from local and well-known professional artists. Architecture inspires her so Marie has painted several lighthouses and old mills as well as many local historic buildings and homes in her area. Her art is displayed in the Mary Webb Centre as well as municipal and many private collecrions.
