REPRESENTED BY AGORA GALLERY, NEW YORK As an artist, I draw inspiration from my happy childhood in a quaint picturesque village. My training in classical drawing grounded me, and it was only when I felt I had become proficient in the basics that I made the leap to paint with acrylic and then oil. My preference on any given day ultimately balances out equally between figurative and landscape painting, with results that are a tangible record of the world seen through my eyes. People often describe me as “driven” in my need to be creative and I often cross that line between passion and obsession… and I wouldn’t have it any other way. To me, everything is a painting. When I’m not painting, I’m thinking about painting. It is not only a way of life, for me, but a form of promoting universal awareness and social change, creating more beauty in the world and sharing it with diverse people in different places.
