Coming from a base in utilitarian quilting I have been moving towards a freer use of fabric and thread to create decorative but expressive images - merging traditional skills and methods with modern trends in fibre art. Fabric and threads are the pigments and media which I use to create the moods impressions and images that I hope to convey.
