Mark is an independent documentary filmmaker and a contemporary still photographer. His documentaries have been broadcast across Canada and have screened at festivals across the country and internationally. His most recent documentary 'Louisiana Fenceline, God and Greenpeace in Cancer Alley' was nominated for Best Environment Documentary at the Yorkton Film and Video Festival in Saskatchewan. Hamilton does the camera work and edits all of his documentaries.

His still photography focuses largely on landscapes – including the Canadian Arctic, Central America, Europe and most commonly his rural home region in southern Ontario, near Guelph. He has shown his work at cafes and small galleries in Guelph and Toronto.
